What Is Creative Kids Club?

Creative Kids Club is a thoughtfully designed after-school art program for Elementary students, where children explore creativity, confidence, and fun through hands-on art. This weekly program guides children through an engaging, age-appropriate art project while being encouraged to experiment, make creative choices, and develop their own artistic voice. Students are given the opportunity to work with a wide variety of art materials while developing skills that extend beyond the art room. This is a process-based program. The emphasis is on exploration and growth rather than perfection. Children are supported in learning new techniques while being given the freedom to express themselves in ways that feel authentic to them.

What Students Will Explore

Throughout the session, students work with a variety of art mediums and techniques, including:

• Watercolor and acrylic painting

• Oil and chalk pastels

• Collage and mixed media

• Sculpture and clay

• Texture, layering, and creative design

All materials are provided, and each child leaves class with artwork they are proud to bring home.​

End-of-Session Art Show

At the end of each session, families are invited to a Creative Kids Club Art Show. Students proudly display selected artwork from the session in a mini gallery, giving families the chance to celebrate their child’s creativity and growth.

This event is often a highlight for both students and parents and helps strengthen community connection.

Who Leads Creative Kids Club

Creative Kids Club is led by Natalia Malley, owner of Peace Love and Paint, professional artist, and experienced children’s art educator.  With over 15 years of experience teaching art to children, Natalia brings a calm, encouraging teaching style and a deep understanding of how to support creativity and confidence in young artists.

Program Details

• Session length: usually 8 weeks, but customizable

• Class duration: 60 minutes

• Grades: K through 6

• Group size: 10 to 15 students per instructor is ideal, assistants can be added for larger groups

• Materials: All supplies included

• Registration: Parents register directly
